In order to enter the Pledge Education Program of Alpha Kappa Psi, you are required to:

 

Complete all requirements for a Bid to Pledge.

Requirements:

​

• Minimum GPA of 2.5

• Current Classification: Second-semester freshman or higher

• Letter of interest: Express your interest in joining Alpha Kappa Psi and what assets you can bring to the fraternity. The minimum length is ¾ of a page, no more than 2 pages. Must be written in business format, typed, double spaced, 12 pt. font, and in Times New Roman.

• Current resume

• Unofficial transcript (from Paws)

• Class schedule for Spring 2023 (Paws)

• One letter of reference (Optional): The letter may be written by faculty/staff members, colleagues, supervisors, mentors, or an active Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi. Be sure to include: the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address of the letter writer. Letters must be typed and signed.

• Professional photograph (headshot) of self (must be 3x5 or larger)

 

 

All interviews will be conducted in business professional attire. If there are any extenuating circumstances in regard to availability and scheduling, please contact us. 

 

Pledge Program Financial Facts

The pledge fee is $325. The fee will be divided into three payments; an initial payment of $125 and two payments of $100. The pledge fee is nonrefundable. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED; ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS. The pledge fee due dates are specified below.
